Forest City Brewers

The club will be making our 2nd appearance at the Fondy / Homebrew Alley Beer Fest in Fond du Lac, WI, on February 1st, 2025 and we're looking for brewers to bring beer to put on tap. Highlights about the fest are below. Let us know if you're interested. Due to the length of the drive, we encourage everybody to stay overnite. They have an excellent hotel deal.

• There will be a competition where the winning entries will be scaled up and brewed at a commercial facility. The winning beer will be brewed by Sahale Ale Works. And the winning mead/cider will be brewed by Rushford Meadery & Winery. Entry into the competition is optional. You can still bring a beer if you don't want to enter.
• 18 confirmed homebrew clubs will be attendance, plus many other commercial breweries
• The club will reimburse each brewer $50 to help cover travel/hotel costs
• There will be a hotel deal for all homebrewers at $123 per night at the Hotel Retlaw. (We stayed there last year and it is extremely nice.)
• The theme of the fest this year is the "90s". Dressing up is optional
• There will be an after party for all homebrewers and vendors at the Brick House
• We can only have up to 6 brewers, who are bringing beer, get in for free. And up to an additional 3 "helpers/pours" can attend at a discounted cost of $25. Anybody else is welcome to attend at full price ($55 at the door).
