Forest City Brewers

Our first bus trip of the year is officially on the calendar. We’ll be heading into Chicago on Saturday, April 30th to go brewery hopping. As of right now, we have no itinerary set. As is customary, we’ll be stopping at around 5-6 breweries/meaderies/distillers/places of beer worship, etc. If anybody has any suggestions for stops, we’re very much open.

The cost for a seat on the bus will be $40 per person. All other purchases at the establishments will be up to you. The bus is beer friendly and there is a bathroom on board.

As of right now, we’re only allowing paid members plus 1 guest to sign up. If we get closer to the date and are still trying to fill seats, we’ll open it up to an unlimited number of guests. The charter bus companies are extremely busy right now, so we were only able to acquire a 39 passenger bus, so seats will be limited more than usual. Our normal buses are 56 passengers by comparison. So I’d sign up sooner, rather than later.

You can use the PayPal link below to pay with. Otherwise, you can pay an officer in person at a club event with cash or check or mail a check to Jerry Machula’s house (club treasurer). If you’re paying by means other than PayPal, make sure to contact us and let us know you’re going so we can get your seat reserved. We’ll also send you Jerry’s mailing address if you need it.

When: Saturday, April 30th, 10am to 10pm (times subject to change, but plan on being gone all day)
